Cycle counter
If the internal cycle counter of the communication unit or control unit is used as the ID-code source, results
are identified by means of consecutive numbers.
Additional options
You can also define additional options, depending on the ID code source:
Delete ID code after start
If this option is selected, the ID code will be deleted after it has been used.
ID code KE The ID-code is accepted by the KE and the
ID-code-source selected there.

Scanner within the
hand-held
nutrunner As of version V2.200 the optional additional
module "Barcode scanner" is available for
ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunners, see note.
This additional module allows reading different
bar codes
(see page 48) .

Note if device selection = scanner : If external input units, e.g. scanners, are used at the serial interface in
Rexroth tightening systems, malfunctions may occur in the data communication with the tightening
system, which can lead to faulty data transmission. An additional safeguard, e.g. via checksum, is not
supported by standard scanners.
Note if device selection = scanner within the hand-held nutrunner : If external input units, e.g. the
scanner at the ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunner, are used in Rexroth tightening systems, malfunctions may
occur in the data communication with the tightening system, which can lead to faulty data transmission.
An additional safeguard, e.g. via checksum, is not supported.
Example Consecutive number of the tightening cycle: 30564 (cycle counter in tightening controller)

ID-code in the results protocol: L 000000030564
The "L" at the beginning stands for "consecutive number".
If an ID-code file is transferred to the tightening system by FTP, any existing file with the same name will
be overwritten. It is not necessary to delete this file before transferring.
Delete ID code after start does not have any effect on the ID code(s) of the Field bus ID code source.
