Operation
3. Press
key 4 times.
4. If a master key number has already been assigned, the BT 6 now ex-
pects input of this master key number.
Otherwise (master key number = 0) continue with 7.
5. Enter the master key number. Numbers will not be displayed during
input!
6. Press
key.
When the correct key code has been entered, the system displays
the first screen for defining code numbers (Master key number in-
put):
Line 1: Setup BT
Line 2: Changing key number
Line 3:
<Not used>
Line 4:
<Code number for changing code numbers>
7. The currently selected master key number can be directly changed
with this function (default setting made in factory and after firmware
upgrade: 0).

This master key number grants access to all submenus that are
protected by key numbers and allows changes to be made there!
8. To change the master key number at this point, enter the number and
then press
.
From that point onward, access to the ”Change code number” mode
is only granted if this higher-level code number is entered.
9. Press
key.
The next code number screen will be displayed.

If no code number is required, you have to enter the value ”0”.

Code numbers in line ”Read only”:
Access to the submenu is protected by code number. Even when
the correct code number has been entered, the data can only be
displayed.

Data in the submenu can only be modified by entering the valid
code number.
In order to enter code numbers at this point, proceed to 10. Other-
