9.4.1 

Mounting depths

Adjusting Mounting Depths

HMV01  and  HCS03  devices  have  greater  mounting  depths  than  the  drive

connection  box  KCU.  For  connecting  the  drive  connection  box  KCU  to  an

HMV01 or HCS03 device, you must therefore use the control cabinet adapter

HAS03.1-002

 which compensates the different mounting depths.

9.4.2 

Touch Guard

Lethal  electric  shock  by  live  parts  with  more

than 50 V!

WARNING

The appropriate touch guard must be mounted for each device following

connection work.
Never operate the device without mounted touch guard.

Never mount a damaged touch guard.

Immediately  replace  a  damaged  touch  guard  by  an  undamaged  touch

guard.

Keep the cutouts at the touch guard as small as possible. Only remove

the cutouts if necessary.

Cutouts at the Touch Guard

If the DC bus and the control voltage are connected by means of contact bars,

only cutout A may be removed from the touch guard.

If the DC bus and the control voltage are connected by means of cables (e.g. in

case of multiple-line arrangement), cutouts A, B and C may be removed from

the touch guard.

At the first and last device in a line of interconnected devices, cutouts may not

be removed from the outer side of the touch guard.
