10.5.6 Shielding
Control failure due to insufficient shielding
NOTICE
Provide sufficient shielding.
The shielding reduces any effects of interferences on the system.
Observe the following when shielding:

Fasten the shielding as extensively as possible
●
Ensure proper contact between connector and terminal
●
Avoid damaging or squeezing conductors
●
Note the wire specifications when connecting the shielding
●
Shield the closest possible to the signal terminal points
Route all power cables and data cables in separate cable channels.
11 Commissioning
The product cannot be operated upon delivery. It has to be parameterized or
programmed.
The documentations providing information on the commissioning and project
configuration are listed in
chapter 1.5 "Related documents" on page 2
An incorrect commissioning can cause fatal
immaterial and material damages!
WARNING
Ensure that a qualified person checks, documents and releases the system in
which the Safety extension module IndraControl XFE01.1-SY-01 is used before
its initial commissioning.
Before the commissioning, ensure that there is no person in the danger zone.
Ensure that the danger zone cannot be accessed.
