OK and Apply are used for executing actions that are required for enabling the
remote operation.

The "Enable Remote Engineering" setting is displayed (as shown in
Fig.9-46:
Enabled project planning
The "Enable Remote Engineering" setting is locked if the "Disable Remote En‐
gineering" option is selected. Confirm this setting by clicking on OK or Apply.
Actions that were executed during the enabling are reset.

Configuration of the Network Parameters at the Operating Station
For communication with the control and with the project planning device, the
Ethernet adapters of the IndraControl VEP **.4 device can be configured. Open
the "Network connections" via the start menu Start ▶ Settings ▶ Network con‐
nections. Right-click on "LAN connection" to open the properties dialog. Select
"Internet protocol (TCP/IP)", then click on "Properties". The network parameters
can be set in the following dialog box.
Obtain an IP address via DHCP
Automatic assignment of the network parameters via DHCP.
Specify an IP address
Manual configuration of the network parameters.

IP address: Manual input of the IP address of the device

Subnet mask: Manual input of the subnet mask

Gateway: Manual input of the gateway
●
DNS: Manual input of the Domain Name Server
