Key Switches, Machine On/Off, Emergency Stop (X2M1)
6.7.1
General Information
On the VDP 92.3 assembly the key switch, the machine-on pushbutton, the
machine-off pushbutton and the EMERGENCY STOP switch are wired on con‐
nector X2M1.
For terminal connectors use copper conductors only. Tighten the screws of the
screw terminals with a torque of 0.25 Nm (1.02 kg in).

6.8
Connection for External Hand-held Terminal (X81)
6.8.1
General Information
Besides the inputs for the handwheel of the hand-held terminal (A, /A, B, /B) 12
inputs (IN0 – IN11) for the keys of the hand-held terminal are available. The
keys are supplied via the "+24 V" supply via connector X81.
The "+24 V" supply is generated by the supply "UL" and may only be used to
connect the keys of the hand-held terminal. Connection X81 for the hand-held
terminal is located on the logic circuit.
