Exceptional error "Hardware (HW)"
When booting (‘Network on’) the bus connection, the hardware components are
tested. Furthermore, during the cyclic operation the I/O configuration and the
transmission quality to the I/O modules are monitored. If an error occurs, the
assembly is set to system stop ‘Exceptional error HW’.

General Information
Each key Sx.y (input) is completely illuminated. The Hx.y LEDs (output) are
assigned to the keys as in
fig. 8-5 "Keypad TA" on page 66
. The keypad is
connected to the logic circuit board via the internal shift register bus. The inputs
(buttons) and outputs (LEDs) of the keypad are mapped at the fieldbus in the
"Keypad TA" module. In the PROFIBUS configurator, the module "Key‐
pad_TA" has to be configured for the keypad.
