7.1

General information

Open connections!

NOTICE

If connections have not been closed with protective covers, liquid or dirt can

penetrate the IndraControl S67 components and destroy them. Protect all

non-required connections with protective caps to be ordered separately (see

chapter 12.9 "Protective caps" on page 131

) to comply with protection class

IP 67.

Before commissioning the IndraControl 767 station, check the following:
●

the field bus coupler is mounted properly (see

chapter 5 "Mounting the

Field Bus Coupler" on page 27

)

●

all necessary supply and sensor lines, as well as the S-BUS and

Ethernet cable, are securely fastened onto the appropriate connections

(see

chapter 6 "Connecting Data and Supply Cables" on page 35

)

●

the S-BUS terminator is fastened (see

chapter 6.4 "Connecting S-BUS"

on page 37

)

●

an appropriate potential equalization was executed at the system

●

the shielding was executed correctly

●

the power supply of the higher-level controller is switched on (see asso‐

ciated manual)

Compatibility Requirements

Field bus coupler requirements for the I/O

modules.

NOTICE

To use all the Sercos field bus coupler functions, such as jitter and synchroni‐

zation of the system bus and field bus, the Sercos field bus coupler places

requirements on the input and output modules. To comply with these require‐

ments, only input and output modules with the following technical index are to

be operated (see the following table for this). The technical index of the used

input and output modules are at least correspond to the index listed in the ta‐

ble. If an input or output module is not listed in the table below, it can be used

with a technical index of "AA1" or higher.
