Commissioning
General Information
Production failure due to uncontrolled ma‐
chine movement, caused by operation with‐
out Compact Flash card or by removal of the
Compact Flash card during operation.
NOTICE
Do not remove the Compact Flash card as long as the control is in operation!
Commissioning steps
For commissioning the control, further parameterization or programming is
necessary.
Proceed as follows to commission the control:
1.
Mounting the control

2.
Insert the Compact Flash card with approved firmware

Connect the power supply via the connectors from the connector set

Switch on the control
Possible production failure due to mal‐
function of the control if the control has
been switched off during the update
process.
NOTICE
Ensure that, depending on the software variant, " HW init" is displayed
after the control has been switched on. Wait unit the procedure is com‐
pleted (approx. 20 seconds). Do not switch off the control. During this
time an update is running. This procedure has to be completed. After
this the commissioning can be continued.

If necessary, make other settings (IP address, subnet mask, gateway
address, ...) at the display. For further information, please refer to the
description of the relevant system (MLC, IndraLogic, MTX, MLC, XLC).
