Send Command Page in ID 200/C-PDP website
This page offers the option of sending individual commands to the device.
Special characters / control characters can be entered in the form “/xHH”, where HH
is the hexadecimal byte value.
The output format of the reply can be selected between:
• ASCII: Output of the character where the ASCII code is the relevant byte value;
• HEX: coding /xHH, where HH is the hexadecimal byte value;
• MIXED: hexadecimal in the form HH HH HH …. and ASCII in the form AAAAA…
Non-printable characters are replaced with a period.
Command and reply syntax is the same as with the command shell (see section 7.1.1
“Commands in the web interface and the command shell” ). The character ‘#’ must
not be entered, however. To send the entered command, simply press the ENTER key
or the SEND button.
With the prefix “/x”, two-digit hexadecimal numbers (= one byte) can be transmitted
to the MDT with the write command. This means that byte values can be written,
which lie outside the representable ASCII range. A command may contain 99
characters in total.
