Commissioning 27/40
RE 62272-B/03.19, Manifold block type AGEV1-48404-AA/HM/L01H01-XC,
Bosch Rexroth AG
Please note that tank lines of pressure valves have to be routed to the tank
without pressure.
To ensure proper functioning a pressure relief feature has to be provided in the
system.
Take account of possible pressure intensification, if the manifold block is
connected to a single-rod cylinder.

8 Commissioning
WARNING
Improperly mounted manifold block!
A powerful hydraulic fluid jet may leak at incompletely connected hydraulic ports
and connection lines and cause serious injuries.
▶
Only commission your system when all hydraulic ports and the manifold block
have been completely connected and properly mounted according to the
specifications.
▶
Look out for defective sealing points and replace defective seals immediately.
▶
Wear personal protective equipment during initial commissioning.
Inadmissibly high operating pressure!
Parts hurtling through the air at high speed and hydraulic fluid ejecting under high
pressure can cause serious injury.
▶
When recognizing the dangerous situation shut the system down immediately.
Depressurize the related system parts.
▶
Before commissioning the hydraulic system ensure that the maximum admissible
pressure of the hydraulic components in the system is not exceeded by any
means.
▶
Ensure that in your system the maximum admissible operating pressure is
limited by means of a pressure relief element.
▶
Make certain that all hydraulic ports and electrical connections are completely
and properly connected.
When commissioning the manifold block in a system, first commission the
electronics, if provided, then the hydraulic system. For commissioning of
electronics, the hydraulic system (power unit, valve, etc.) must be switched off to
prevent damage to hydraulic components in case of incorrect wiring and
malfunction of the electronics.
