GSD file
With the devices, two GSD files according to EN 50170 Part 2 (DP) are provi‐
ded. These files contain all data allowing to connect the VAM 10.2/VAM 40.2
to any Profibus DP master (according to EN 50170 Part 2 (DP)). The master
manufacturer delivers or defines a Profibus DP configuration tool suitable for
its Profibus DP master. For an example configuration using IndraLogic, refer
to
chapter 9.7 "Example configuration using IndraLogic" on page 54
RX010123.GSD is a universal GSD file, which describes the Maschinenbe‐
dienfelder VAM 10.2/VAM 40.2 (and further VAM control panels) as modular
Profibus DP slave. Select this GSD file in the Profibus DP configuration tool
via the station name "VAM". Configure the modules in the Profibus DP con‐
figuration tool in the right sequence. The order of the modules is described in
chapter 9.6 "Configuration specifications" on page 54
RX020123.GSD is a GSD file, which describes the Maschinenbedienfelder
VAM 10.2/VAM 40.2 as compact Profibus DP slave. This GSD file is used to
easily configure the VAM 10.2 and is used as basic device of the VAM 40.2.
If the station name "VAM10, VAM40" was selected in the Profibus DP config‐
uration tool, the correct configuration of the modules is automatically dis‐
played.
Please find the GSD files on the Bosch Rexroth web site or contact your
sales representative.
