First allow boiled vegetables to cool down.
Slice at setting 1 or setting 2.

Fruit or vegetables (the stones have to be
taken out of stoned fruit) raw, soft, ripe fruit
(e.g. tomatoes, grapes, berries); max 1000 g
Slice fruit/vegetables into pieces.
If required cook fruit/vegetables until
tender and strain at setting 2 preferably
while still hot.
Note:
Whilst stirring, bring fruit for making jams
(berries without stems) to the boil without fluid,
then mash.

Baking
Sponge mixture
Basic recipe (e.g.

26 cm sponge form tin)
3–4 eggs
3–4 tbs. hot water
150 g sugar
1 packet of vanilla sugar
Beat ingredients for 5 minutes at setting 2 until
frothy.
150 g flour
50 g cornflour
1 tsp. baking powder
Mix flour, cornflour and baking powder.
Switch appliance to setting 1 and add
the flour mixture through the feed tube.
Do not mix for longer than 1 minute.
Base for fruit flan
Basic recipe
2 eggs
125 g sugar
Beat eggs and sugar for 5 minutes
at setting 2 until a froth forms.
125 g ground hazel nuts
50 g breadcrumbs
Switch appliance to setting 1, add
hazel nuts and breadcrumbs through
the feed tube.
Mix only briefly.
Maximum quantity:

Yeast dough
According to what it is to be used
for, there are three different types
of yeast dough.
– Light yeast dough e.g. for doughnuts
– Medium yeast dough e.g. for plaited buns
and bread
– Heavy yeast dough for sheet-baked cakes,
fruit cakes and (fruit) crumbles
To prepare basic dough:
Process 150 ml of warm fluid (milk or water),
crumbled yeast, a pinch of sugar and 100 g
of flour at setting 2 with the kneading hook.
Allow basic dough to rise.
Process the remaining ingredients as stated
in the recipe.
Plaited bun
Basic recipe
500 g flour
25 g yeast or 1 packet dried yeast
210–220 ml warm milk
1 egg
1 pinch of salt
80 g sugar
60 g melted, cooled fat
Grated rind of half a lemon
Knead ingredients briefly at setting 1,
and then for 1–2 minutes at setting 2.
Maximum quantity:

500 g flour
25 g yeast or 1 packet dried yeast
1 tsp. sugar
1 pinch of salt
4 tbs. oil
250–300 ml warm water
Knead ingredients briefly at setting 1, and
then for 1–2 minutes at setting 2.
