RCD Single White
Sockets
A range of single white RCD protected sockets for new
installations or to replace existing
sockets. The RCD sockets will
provide protection against electric
shocks and fires when operating
home appliances, gardening
equipment, power tools and
industrial machines/equipment.
Units fully comply with BS7288 and BS1363.
Operation: The RCD units will detect potentially dangerous faults by
monitoring the integrity of the mains supply and will break the circuit
instantaneously if a fault occurs, minimising the risk of potentially fatal
electric shocks. Non-latching and Latching types are available.
Non-
latching types
require manual reset to restore power after the power
supply is temporarily lost (a must for power tools).
Latching types
immediately restore power following a power cut.
