Clamping the Workpiece

To ensure optimum working safety, the work-
piece must always be firmly clamped.
Do not saw workpieces that are too small to

clamping fixture with your fingers.
– Press the workpiece firmly against the

Adjusting the Cutting Angle

Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the mains plug.
To ensure precise cuts, the basic adjustment of
the machine must be checked and adjusted as
necessary after intensive use (see “Checking
and Adjusting the Basic Adjustment”, page 65).

Always tighten the locking knob 27 firmly
before sawing.
Otherwise the saw blade can
become wedged in the workpiece.
– Bring the power tool into the chop and mitre
saw working position. (see “Working Posi-
tion”, page 59)
Adjusting Horizontal Standard Mitre Angles

For quick and precise adjustment of commonly
used mitre angles, detents

– Loosen the locking knob

ened.
– Pull lever

felt to engage in the detent.
Adjusting Any Horizontal Mitre Angle

The horizontal mitre angle can be set in the
range from 48° (left side) to 48° (right side).
