Protection Against Deep
Discharging
The lithium ion battery is protected
a g a i n s t d e e p d i s c h a r g i n g b y t h e
“ E l e c t r o n i c C e l l P r o t e c t i o n ( E C P ) ” .
When the battery is empty, the cordless
floodlight is switched off by means of a
protective circuit.
Turning the Floodlight On
and Adjusting the
Brightness
To turn the floodlight ON,
press the On/Off button

To turn floodlight OFF, press the On/Off
button a fourth time.
Run Time
The run time will depend on the Bosch
battery capacity and the brightness
setting of the Floodlight. The run time
on the high brightness setting will be 30
minutes per Ah of the battery pack on
the GLI18V-4000C and 12.5 minutes per

GLI18V-10000C.
The battery charge indicator

shows
the battery charge level.
Low Battery Warning
Shortly before the cordless floodlight
switches off because of a low battery, it
w i l l f l a s h 3 t i m e s a n d s h i n e w i t h
reduced brightness.
Temperature Dependent
Overload Protection
In order to protect both the user as well
as the floodlight, the floodlight switches
off if the heat sink temperature reaches
1 4 0 ° F ( 6 0 ° C ) . A l l o w t h e c o r d l e s s
floodlight to cool down, then switch the
cordless floodlight on again.
Do not continue to
p r e s s t h e O n / O f f
switch after the cordless floodlight has
been automatically switched off.
The
battery can be damaged.
Swiveling Stand
The lamp head can be swiveled on the
stand

to suit the application (Fig. 3).
Fastening to the tripod
You can use the tripod mount to screw
the cordless floodlight onto a tripod.
Tighten the 5/8" screw. Ensure that the
tripod has a firm footing.
