▶ Inserting and Releasing
Battery Pack
S e t F o r w a r d / R e v e r s i n g l e v e r t o t h e
center (locked position). Slide charged
battery pack into the housing until the
battery pack locks into position (Fig. 2).
Your tool is equipped with a secondary
locking latch to prevent the battery pack
f r o m c o m p l e t e l y f a l l i n g o u t o f t h e
handle, should it become loose due to
vibration.
To remove the battery pack, press the
battery pack release button and slide
the battery pack completely out of tool
housing (Fig. 2).

Accessories
C l e a n t h e i n s e r t s h a n k e n d o f t h e
accessory to remove any debris, then
l i g h t l y g r e a s e w i t h a l i g h t o i l o r
lubricant.
Insert accessory into the chuck through

on the accessory to be certain it is
locked into the chuck (Fig. 3).
NOTE: The high efficiency available
from the rotary hammers can only be

accessories are used. The "cost" to

accessories is more than offset by the
"time saved" in operating the tool with
sharp accessories.
▶ Removing SDS-plus®
Accessories
Accessories may be
hot after use.
Avoid
c o n t a c t w i t h s k i n a n d u s e p r o p e r
protective gloves or cloth to remove.
To remove an accessory, pull locking
sleeve backward and pull bit forward.
All accessories should be wiped clean
after removing (Fig. 4).
