9.1 Transporting the appli-
ance
When flying, you can transport the
appliance in your hand luggage. You
should not use the appliance during
a flight.
9.2 Removing the battery
Integrated batteries may only be re-
moved for disposal by trained staff.
Note:
Opening the housing shell can
irreparably damage the appliance.

Activate the plasma until the bat-
tery is fully discharged.

Use a screwdriver to remove the
locking pin.
3.
Prise open the housing shell and
remove the battery.
4.
To prevent a short circuit, discon-
nect the battery connections indi-
vidually and then isolate the ter-
minals one after the other.
Note:
Even if the battery is fully dis-
charged, it still has a residual capa-
city, possibly resulting in leakage in
the event of a short circuit.
9.3 Disposing of batteries
Batteries should be recycled in an
environmentally friendly manner. Do
not dispose of the batteries in the
household rubbish.

2006/66/EC, defective
or used battery packs/
batteries, must be collec-
ted separately and dis-
posed of in an environ-
mentally correct manner.
9.4 Disposing of old appli-
ance
Valuable raw materials can be re-
used by recycling.

vironmentally friendly manner.

methods are available from your
specialist dealer or local authority.
This appliance is la-
belled in accordance
with European Directive
2012/19/EU concerning
used electrical and elec-
tronic appliances (waste
electrical and electronic
equipment - WEEE).
The guideline determ-
ines the framework for
the return and recycling
of used appliances as
applicable throughout
the EU.
