5.4 Configuration of the Indoor Camera
To configure the Indoor Camera you
need to make sure your phone is
connected to the Wi-fi network
you want to connect the device to.
Then please start the app and login
with your Bosch account or register.
In the Bosch Smart Cameras App over-
view screen, please select “Add Came-
ra”. Follow the steps indicated in the
app and enter the Wi-fi-password of
the network you want to connect your
camera to when asked. The app will
now generate a QR code. Please show
this QR code to the Indoor Camera
from about a half arm’s length.
When the camera recognized the QR
code, you will hear a beep and the light
ring will be green for about 3 seconds.
The camera will automatically reboot,
indicated by the light ring being
red. Thereafter it will automatically
connect to the Wi-fi and to the cloud
service. Once the connection and con-
figuration is completed the light ring is
steady blue. The camera is now ready
for use. Whenever it streams video the
light ring will light up blue.
