Bypass or Unbypass Zones
[Bypass] or [# Command][0]
Use this command to bypass one or more zones before turning the system
on.
For example, your kitchen was just painted and you want to leave the
windows open, but you need to turn your system on. Bypassing zones
allows you to turn your system on, but it prevents the system from
monitoring undesired areas, such as the kitchen.
To bypass a zone, enter the zone number, and then press [*]. For
example, to bypass Zone 3, press [3][*]. Repeat this process to unbypass a
zone.
5.5
Turn the System On with No Entry Delay
Refer to Table 7
Turning the system on with no Entry Delay eliminates the Entry Delay
timer on all Entry/Exit Delay zones, such as the front door.
If an Entry/Exit Delay zone is faulted when the system is on with no
Entry Delay, the system immediately starts an alarm condition.
