Microphone
To activate the microphone:
Push the microphone button to activate the microphone
of your wireless discussion unit. When the red light
around the microphone button comes on, you can
speak.
To deactivate the microphone:
When the red light around the microphone button is on,
push the microphone button to deactivate the
microphone. The red light around the microphone
button goes off.
Priority function
With the priority button, you can temporarily deactivate
the microphones of all delegates. At the same time, the
priority button activates your own microphone. The
system has the possibility to:
•
Play a chime when you push the priority button.
•
Erase the request-to-speak list and the speakers list
when you push the priority button.
When you release the priority button, the system
deactivates your microphone. When the speakers list is
not erased, the system activates the microphones of the
speakers again.
Voting
Standard procedure:
1 The operator starts the voting session. When the
voting session is started, the yellow light adjacent to
voting button
1
flashes.
2 Push voting button
1
to confirm that you are present.
The yellow lights around the available voting buttons
flash.
3 Cast your vote. You can change your vote until the
operator stops the voting session.
Note
When more than one chairman devices are
installed in the system, the next chairman that
enables his or her microphone automatically
disables the microphone of the previous
chairman.
Note
Some types of wireless discussion units do not
have voting buttons. With these types of
wireless discussion units, you cannot cast
votes.
