Bosch Security Systems I 7/05 I F.01U.522.651A
Function
Outgoing calls and reports
(A)
are transmitted over the analog phone network
(4)
by default.
If the voltage on the phone line is too low (static supervision) or after 3 unsuccessful redial
attempts from the control panel
(2)
(dynamic supervision), the ITS-300GSM
(3)
switches to
transmission via the GSM mobile network
(5)
. The information from the control panel is either
transmitted transparently as tones
(A1)
to the dialed number
(6)
or is sent as an SMS
message
(A2)
to an SMS receiver
(7)
if this has been programmed. Phone calls from the house
phone
(1)
can be transmitted via GSM
(A2)
if the analog phone line fails (see Parameters,
digit 4). If necessary, the ITS-300GSM can also transmit own events
,
such as test calls and
fault/restoration of the phone line in the form of an SMS
message
(B)
. Remote programming
(C)
is possible with a cell phone
(8)
.
Initial Set-Up

8.1) LED flashes in sequence:
- once: Voltage has been applied
- twice: Device is booked in GSM network
- three times: ITS-300GSM is ready
8.2) LED flashes every 12 seconds: GSM field strength is displayed
once= low field strength to five times= high field strength. If the GSM field strength
is low, improve the antenna location.
8.3) LED lights up during transmission via the GSM mobile network
Transparent Transmission
(A1)
SMS Transmission
(A2) and (B)
Required GSM field strength
at least 3 (LED flashes 3x)
