Control Pad

2 Up
Use up arrow to increase value or turn page up.
3 Running light
An illuminated light means the unit is running. When the
light is off the unit is not running. When the light is flash-
ing the unit is in error or under protection.
4 Power
For starting or shutting down the unit, note: when the
unit is in stand-by, the function still can be used.
5 Vacation
Use this button during times when no hot water will be
used, such as vacation for an extended period of time.
6 Down
For decreasing the value or turn page down.
7 Enter
For locking or unlocking the control pad. Press the but-
ton and the control pad will be locked.
When the panel is locked, press this key for 3 seconds
to deactivate the lock.
After changing the setpoint temperature through UP/
DOWN keys, press this key to confirm.
8 MODE
Users may choose between the following operating
modes: auto mode, economic mode and electric mode.

Detailed description on the control func-
tion
Auto lock function
If no buttons are pressed 1 minute, the control pad will
be locked. To deactivate the lock, press and hold the
lock pad for three seconds.
Diagnostic function
This is a service function for troubleshooting problems
and repair. See section 6.
Screen saver
To extend the life of the screen, the screen will be
dimmed when there is no operation for one minute.
Press any key to activate the screen.
