Preparing the CAMBox
Risk of injury, risk of crushing
The heavy weight of the CAMBox, 48 kg,
means that there is an increased risk of injury
during transport.
¶
Always use a lifting crane and hoist to
transport the CAMBox.
¶
Wear protective gloves.
¶
Wear protective boots.

Installation of the system software is described in
the program description EP-Software (order number:
1 689 989 099) in chapter 3.3 "Installation of KMA
system software EPS945".

Operation of the voltage stabilizer is described in
the operating instructions 1 689 979 951.
Procedure:
1.
Hoist the CAMBox out of the transport case using a
suitable lifting crane and hoist.
2.
Push the CAMBox onto the EPS clamping bracket
until it almost reaches the coupling assembly. Do
not
secure the CAMBox.
3.
Remove the hoist.
4.
Connect the cable 1 684 465 589 to terminal X9 of
the trigger electronics.
5.
Switch on the voltage stabilizer at the mains switch.
6.
Set voltage to 14 Volt and current limitation to maximum
(35 amps) on the voltage stabilizer and then release.
7.
Open the “
main menu
” diaIog box in the EPS 945
system software.
8.
Re-initialization must be performed if the status indi-
cator for the CRI 800 trigger electronics is red. For this
purpose select 2x <
F4
> in the “
main menu
” dialog box.
The status indicator display is green following
successful initialization.

The CRI 800 trigger electronics are then ready for
operation.

Entering the CAMBox reference value
Procedure:
1.
Select the softkey <
F7
> in the “
main menu
” dialog box.
2.
Enter the password:
1958
and confirm with <
F12
>.
3.
Select the menu option “
Calibration >> CAMBox
” in
the “
Configuration
” dialog box and call up with <
F12
>.
4.
Enter the
reference value of the CAMBox
, e.g.
6.17
in the CAMBox reference value entry field.

The reference value is on an adhesive label on the
CAMBox housing. In addition, a calibration report is
supplied with the CAMBox. This also contains the
reference value.
5.
Press <
F4
> to save the reference value.

After storing the reference value, the current date
appears at the top left in the dialog box.
