Preassembling the lubricating oil

Procedure:
¶
Push the two hose manifolds (Fig. 12, Pos. 1) into
the transparent PVC hose (Fig. 12, Pos. 3) and secu-
re with the hose clamps (Fig. 12, Pos. 2).

Fitting the edge protector to
the KMA
Procedure:
¶
Press the edge protector (Fig. 13, Pos. 1) onto the
edge of the oil pan of the KMA.

Affixing the adhesive labels

If you are using the CRI 846/CRI 846H tester set,
the adhesive labels are already affixed to the KMA
and the heat exchanger. In this case, please skip this
section.
Procedure:
1.
Clean and grease the adhesive surfaces of the
heat exchanger and KMA with a suitable product
(e. g. spirit).
2.
Detach the adhesive labels (Fig. 14, Pos. 1) from the
film and affix to the heat exchanger (Fig. 14, Pos. 2).
3.
Detach the adhesive labels (Fig. 14, Pos. 4) from the
film and affix to the front cover of the KMA testing de-
vice (Fig. 14, Pos. 3).
