NOTICE
Handling damaged lithium-ion batteries
• Only touch and transport damaged lithium-ion batteries with personal
protective equipment that is resistant to alkalis and solvents.
• If there are any signs of heat, smoke, odor, noise, or deformation of the
batteries, disconnect the lithium-ion battery from the vehicle.
• Store the lithium-ion battery in a fi re-resistant container or at a
safe distance from combustible materials.
• Do not inhale any vapors that may be generated.
Disposal of lithium-ion batteries
Dispose of lithium-ion batteries properly.
Tape off the connection contacts for disposal.
Store damaged lithium-ion batteries in fi re-resistant containers.
During transport, observe the relevant hazardous goods requirements for
lithium-ion batteries.

• The materials used are environmentally friendly.
• They can be recycled or reused (components may have to be processed and
replaced). Recyclability is ensured by the selection of materials and the ability to
take the components apart.
• Careless disposal may lead to environmental contamination.

Disposal of electrical components:
– Electrical components, tools, batteries, and packaging must be recycled in
accordance with environmental protection regulations.
– Never dispose of electrical components, tools, and accumulators/batteries in
household waste or commercial waste!

– According to the currently valid EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE) and its implementation into national law, electrical
components and devices that are no longer used must be collected, separated,
and recycled in accordance with environmental protection regulations.
– According to the currently valid WEEE EU Directive, exhausted or defective
accumulators/batteries must be recycled.
– According to the Directive, the product may
not contain any foreign substances or
foreign components when it is recycled.
• Dispose of the product in accordance with the regulations in your country.
