BEFORE USE
Installation of sanding belt
ATTENTION! Always unplug the machine’s power
cord from the electrical outlet when for a long time
you do not work with this tool before replacing
sanding belt as well as before cleaning, setting up
or repairing tool .
ATTENTION! Before installing a new sanding belt,
you must clean the sanding pad and rollers from
dust and dirt .
• Pull the belt tension lever (8) . Be careful, because
lever in The tensioned position may slip back to the
closed position . Pull lever until it is locked .
• Take a sanding belt of the required size and grit .
With using the arrows on the inside of the sanding
belt, determine the direction of its movement .
• Put on the sanding belt, taking into account the
direction of its movement on leading and driven
rollers by holding it from the outside of the bottom
plate grinding machine .
• Ensure that the sanding belt is centered on the
bottom plate, and that the arrows correspond to
the direction of movement of the tape . Let goten-
sion lever .
NOTE: Be careful, because the position of the ten-
sion lever depends from spring tension . Make sure
that the tension lever is fully lowered .
Adjusting the position of the sanding belt.
• Turn on the sander and let the machine run for
7-10 seconds . idle .
• Turn the tool over with the grinding belt . Rotating
adjusting screw (6) left or right, adjust tape position
so that its edges protrude at 1-3mm beyond the
outer edges of both rollers .
ATTENTION! If the sanding belt during tool opera-
tion will being too close to the inside (base of the
rollers), this may cause wear, torn edges of the tape
and damage sanding machine .
Installing a dust collector
This machine is equipped with a outlet for dust (5)
and is completed cartridge dust collector . It is rec-
ommended to use this feature each when working
with the instrument, as well as wearing a respirator
and goggles .
Install a dust cartridge on the dust outlet or Con-
nect the nozzle with a special vacuum cleaner .
ATTENTION! It is necessary to regularly clean the
cartridge dust collector . Be extremely careful when
removing dust some materials in dusty form can be
explosive .
Mixtures of dust and oil or water may ignite over
time . Not overflow the cartridge; remove dust from
the cartridge when it turns out to be about 2/3 full .
SAFETY WARNINGS FOR SANDER
• Use the machine only for dry sanding . Penetration
of water into the machine increases the risk of an
electric shock .
• Caution, fire hazard! Avoid overheating the ob-
ject being sanded as well as the sander . Always
empty the dust collector before taking breaks . In
unfavourable conditions, e . g ., when sparks emit
from sanding metals, sanding debris in the dust
bag, micro filter or paper sack (or in the filter sack
or filter of the vacuum cleaner) can self-ignite . Par-
ticularly when mixed with remainders of varnish,
polyurethane or other chemical materials and
when the sanding debris is hot after long periods
of working .
• Secure the workpiece . A workpiece clamped with
clamping devices or in a vice is held more secure
than by hand .
• Keep your workplace clean . Blends of materials
are particularly dangerous . Dust from light alloys
can burn or explode .
