CONSUMER SAFETY INFORMATION
POWER CORD:
A power-supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from entanglement or tripping over
longer cord. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, it should be positioned in such a way that it does
not drape over the counter or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over and;
1. Use only 3-wire extension cord with a 3-prong grounded plug.
2. The marked rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating of the
appliance. The rating label is located on the unit.
This appliance is equipped with 3-wire cord having a grounded plug. This plug must be plugged into a
properly installed and grounded outlet.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS:
WARNING:
Improper use of the grounding wire may result in the risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician
if necessary. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature by modifying the plug.
1. Place the unit on the level surface.
7. The kettle is not recommended for boiling beverages like Tea, Soup, Coffee, Milk etc. It
is for boiling water which can be used to process beverages.
NOTE:
Be careful while pouring the water from the kettle, since the boiling water
may cause scalding. Do not open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.
NOTE:
Always disconnect the power supply when not use. Be careful of refilling when
the kettle is hot.
6. The kettle will not re-boil until the On/Off switch is pressed down again. The kettle may
be stored on the power base when not in use.
2. To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid by pressing the lid
open button. Fill with the desired amount of water, and then close the lid.
3. Plug the power cord of electric kettle to the main socket & Switch ON the main supply.
4. Connect the plug into a power outlet. Press down the On/Off switch; the Blue LED’s will
light up. The kettle will start to boil the water, once the water has been boiled the
On/Off switch will be shut off automatically. You can disconnect the power by lifting the
On/Off switch at any moment during boiling water. If you want to boil water again,
press down the On/Off switch directly to restart the kettle.
NOTE:
Ensure that the On/Off switch is free of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed:
the kettle will not turn off if the switch is constrained or if the lid is open.
NOTE:
The water level should not exceed MAX marks or sit below MIN level. Too little
water will cause the kettle switching off before the water has boiled. If filled the water
over the maximum level, water may spill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the
lid is firmly put in place and the kettle socket position matches the power base socket,
before plugging the power outlet.
5. Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.
