How to crimp servo terminals
Using the crimping tool is very simple. What I do is this:
1)
Observe the crimp terminal and you will see a crimping area in the middle of the terminal
and a slightly larger crimp area at the end of the crimp terminal.
2)
Strip the wire just enough so that the bare wire will sit in the middle crimp area of the
terminal.
3)
The back part of a crimp terminal (when crimped) will grab the insulation.
4)
Before crimping, place the crimp terminal on the wire and gently squeeze the part of the
terminal that connects to the insulation of the wire with pliers. This will stop the terminal
from falling off the wire during the crimping process.
