7) Indicator Lamps

1. Reverse lamp (red)
2. Neutral lamp (green)
3. Engine temperature (red)
Engine Temperature (red)
This light turns on when the
ignition switch is turned ON and
remains on for approximately 1
second.
When this indicator light is
ON, it indicates the engine is
overheating.
If engine overheats, refer to
ENGINE OVERHEAT in SPECIAL
PROCEDURES.
CAUTION:
If the light does not turn
off right after engine starting, stop
engine. See an authorized Bom-
bardier ATV dealer. Do not use the
vehicle until repaired.
Reverse Lamp (red)
When lit,
it indicates the
transmission
is
in
reverse
position.
Neutral Lamp (green)
When lit,
it indicates the
transmission
is
in
neutral
position.
8) Ignition Switch
Located in the middle of cluster.
Key-operated, 2-position switch: OFF,
ON.

1. Ignition switch
Insert key in switch and turn to ON
position. To remove key, turn key to
OFF then pull it out.
Remember that having the lights on
without the engine running discharges
the battery. Always turn ignition to
OFF after engine has been stopped.
NOTE:
While engine can be stopped
by turning ignition key OFF, we recom-
mend the engine be stopped by the
engine stop switch.
9) Fuel Tank Cap
Unscrew counterclockwise and re-
move cap to allow fuel tank filling then
fully tighten clockwise.
NOTE:
Ensure that vent tube is prop-
erly installed.
