 NOTE: 

There may still be dust or production residues on the surface 

of the device. We recommend that you quickly wipe off the 

housing with a damp cloth.

Assembly instructions

The device must be completely assembled before use! While 

reading the text it is advisable to refer to the „Overview of the 

Components“.
1.  Place the parts of the base together in the shape of a cross.

2.  Screw the mounting plate (13) tightly to the base. For this 

you should use the four crosshead screws and washers 

supplied.

3.  If necessary, remove the height adjustment nut (9). Push 

the covering cap (10) on to the lowest position of the upright 

tube (11). Screw the height adjustment nut back on to the 

upright tube (11).

4.  Loosen the connection screw (8) and insert the gear casing 

(7) and the motor casing (5) on the stand tube. Then tighten 

the crosshead screw with a screwdriver so that it is hand-

tight.

5.  Unscrew the mounting ring (18) in an anticlockwise direc-

tion. Keep it ready to hand.

6.  Position the rear protection grid (16) in place in accordance 

with the recesses.

 NOTE:  

Please ensure that the carrying handle is facing upwards.

7.  Turn the attachment ring (18) for the rear protection grid (16) 

slightly in a clockwise direction.

8.  Attach the propeller. Note the position of the guide pin on the 

motor shaft.

9.  Tighten the attachment screw (19) for the propeller in an 

anticlockwise direction.

10.  Remove the preassembled fastening screw (1) and nut (3) 

from the wire mesh guard. Keep it ready to hand.

11.  Insert the front wire mesh guard (20) into the hook (17) .

 NOTE: 

Ensure that the holes for the attachment screw in the front 

and rear protective grille are aligned one above the other

.

12.  Secure the wire mesh guard with the fastening screw (1) 

and nut (3).

13.  Close the attachment hooks.

Position

The ideal position is a non-slip, flat surface.

Putting into Service

Electrical Connection

1.  Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure that the 

mains voltage to be used matches that of the device. You 

can find this information on the nameplate.

2.  Connect the device to a duly installed protective contact 

socket. 

Use

Basic Settings

Set the blower inclination angle before starting the device. You 

can adjust the inclination angle by tipping the blower casing with 

both hands. 

 

CAUTION:  

The inclination angle amounts to approx. 10°.

Operation

Use the pushbutton switches on the front to select the speed:
 

•  3 

fast

 

•  2 

medium

 

•  1 

slow

 

•  0 

off

Shift to „0“ to switch off the device.

Fan Setting

For this you have two possibilities:

Fixed

•  Turn the device off.

•  Pull out the adjustment knob.

•   Hold the fan by the protective cage and turn it in the desired 

direction. 

Oscillating

 

•  Press in the adjustment knob.

•   The device swivels automatically within a range of approxi-

mately 90°.

•   Pull the adjustment knob in order to switch the function off.

Cleaning

 WARNING: 

•  Always remove the mains plug before cleaning the device. 

•  If you need to remove the safety guard: Always switch the 

device off and remove the mains plug.

•  Under no circumstances should you immerse the device 

in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result 

in an electric shock or fire.

 

CAUTION: 

•  Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items. 

•  Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.

•  Clean the outside of the device with a dry cloth without any 

additives. 

•  If the device is very dirty wet a cloth with water and then 

wipe the device dry once you have finished.

Noise development

The workplace-related emission value is less than 70 dB(A).
