CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Before cleaning the espresso machine, make sure it is cool.
• Clean the interior of the riser pipe regularly.
• Regularly check the coffee funnel and the seal. If there are any signs of
wear or damage, exchange these components. Only use original spare parts.
• Every now and then check that the holes in the disc sieve are not blocked.
If the holes are blocked, clean them with a needle (see diagram below).
• The espresso machine is not dishwasher-safe.
• Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaning agents. Simply wipe the espresso
machine with a sponge.
6.
Place the espresso machine on the base. Close the lid.
7.
Press the ON /OFF switch. The pilot light indicates that the
appliance is operating. After approximately 5 minutes, coffee
will start to percolate from the riser pipe. After the coffee has
been made, the ON /OFF switch will automatically revert to the
OFF position. (i.e. the appliance is switched off).
IMPORTANT: Before initial use of the espresso machine, clean all its accessories
and the riser pipe with warm water.
