1.1 introduction
The Lockdown Alert System transceiver sends the information by HF radio (868.3 Mhz) to its receiver.
The receiver is linked to the Sigma master clock by its external output or by a 3 input expansion card. The Lockdown
Alert System transceiver allows control of the audio systems (Harmonys or Melodys or Sigma Sound) by HF radio
for bell signals and Lockdown Alert System alerts.
Up to 48 remote controls can be paired with this receiver.
Free-space signal coverage: 1 km.
Coverage inside buildings is limited by the structure and number of walls through which the radio signal must travel.
The lockdown alert System transceiver uses lora technology
: Long range transmission and reception,
excellent penetration in buildings, stable and reliable communication and open network design.
This device cannot be the only mean of triggering an alarm. A wired solution must be imperatively present on the
site.
