could lead to the damaging of your boat or vessel, personal serious injury or death. This product is designed to be used as device, which assist captain or its crew

during mooring with a boat hook on buoy, ring or lazy line (mooring line) together with Boatasy GHOOK and may be used for these purposes only. Do not use it for

on the boat or vessel deck, which could impede the smooth, safe usage of the Boatasy HOOKLINKER. Use the Boatasy HOOKLINKER only in windless areas and

under circumstances in which the boat is not moving or drifting. Use it only in cases of calm water (no waves), no currents or any other questionable circumstances

(bad weather, storm, etc.), which could influence the boat or vessel and cause it to start moving or drifting. It is prohibited to use the product during abnormal conditions

on board a boat. When used together with Boatasy GHOOK please read carefully User Instruction Manual for Boatasy GHOOK. When used togehter with Boatasy

GHOOK, the Boatasy GHOOK should be connected to rope extension (rope+floating buoy). Do not use them together, when forces on the lazy line (mooring line),

which pressurize the Boatasy GHOOK and consequently on HOOKLINKER, exceed 12 kgs (about 120 N). Do not test and pressurize the Boatasy GHOOK and

HOOKLINKER with additional weights. Do not use it when the width or diameter of the mooring line connected to Boatasy GHOOK is lower than 5 mm or exceeds 6

cm (usually on a very overgrown mooring line). Users should always be careful to check for thickness, shell or algae damage, etc. as well as obstacles on the mooring

line (lazy line), which could interfere with its normal functioning or transmission or even block it. The stoppages could cause the mooring or berthing time to increase.

The consequences of stoppages may include the drifting of the boat or vessel and consequential collisions, possible damage, injuries and death. In case of stoppage

of the Boatasy HOOKLINKER connected to the Boatasy GHOOK and that to the lazy line (mooring line), the user should react immediately and only when all

circumstances are safe, should he immediately proceed with the transfer of the mooring line (lazy line) in the traditional way (manually). It is important that the mooring

and berthing operation is carried out safely, quickly and always in accordance with boat’s captain. It is very important that checks be run, both before and during each

use of the Boatasy HOOKLINKER and GHOOK, to verify the safety and appropriateness of the transfer of the mooring line (lazy line) or moring on buoy or ring. Do

not use it in the case of non appropriate, damaged or not suatable mooring buoy or ring or a corroded, sharp, unfit mooring line (lazy line), which could damage the

device. Inspect the Boatasy HOOKLINKER before each use. If the product is damaged, discontinue use! Failure to perform inspection steps preceding each use of

the Boatasy HOOKLINKER and its supporting accessory (snap hook) could lead to problems during the berthing process, possibly resulting in serious injury and other

accidents. A competent person must inspect their equipment frequently, at least every 12 months and always before use. If damage is detected, please return the

product to its manufacturer for repair or replacement. Any attempt to modify or repair equipment by the user will void the warranty. The Boatasy HOOKLINKER and its

accessories (steel snap hook, LED Flashlight) itself do not float. The Boatasy HOOKLINKER can be used also together with stainless steel snap hook together

connected to mooring rope and LED Flashlight only in suitable conditions, which the user should verify before each mooring and / or berthing operation. The snap hook

should be inserted into the Boatasy HOOKLINKER in appropriate way and connected to rope (see part HOW TO USE HOOKLINKER in this Manual). Only unsharp,

clean and suitable ropes made of resistant, non-expandable material (nylon or similar material) may be used. IMPORTANT: Boatasy HOOKLINKER and steel snap

hook (in the box) should be used only in normal weather circumstances to help lifting of mooring buoy. For the better safety of your boat it is recommended to moor

the boat with additional and appropriate safety mooring rope in appropriate and safe way. Once moored with additional appropriate (enaugh steength) safety berthing

(mooring) rope, steel snap hook could be removed from buoy or ring. Please take in consideration that steel snap hook have limited working and breaking load

capacity.  It is important to be very careful with boat maneuvers in case the Boatasy HOOKLINKER and mooring rope falls into the water. The captain should always

be careful and should avoid contact of the mooring rope with the boat’s rudder, keel, shaft or propeller in order to avoid it wrapping around them and consequently

causing the stoppage of the engine or other issues. It is very important that user not connect or wrap mooring rope connected to the Boatasy HOOKLINKER steel snap

hook or GHOOK to his / her hand, arm or any other part of his /her body (see Pic. 1 and Pic. 2) ! It is important not to insert hands in the snap sheel hook or in the

space between the ergonomic handle and plastic wheel (when used together with GHOOK) (see Pic.3a). Do not insert fingers into the latch of HOOKLINKER steel

snap hook or in GHOOK (when used together with GHOOK) (see Pic.3b). The user must always have the option to remove the Boatasy HOOKLINKER away from the

ring or buoy if the forces caused by the bad weather (wind, waves, currents) or in other unsafe circumstances. For safety and easier disconnection from buoy or ring,

you must duplicate berthing with additional safe berthing rope, which is enaugh strong to hold boat also in bad weather or heavy circumstances (see Pic. 4). Once

additional mooring rope is safe connected to buoy, ring and cleat on the boat the snap hook can be removed. It is important that the connection of the mooring rope in

the ring or buoy into the Boatasy HOOKLINKER or lazy line into Boatasy GHOOK is only carried out when the boat is stopped. Connection and disconnection of the

Boatasy HOOKLINKER  (with or without GHOOK) from the mooring line (lazy line) should be carried out with caution and in a place with no obstacles around it. Do

not connect or disconnect HOOKLINKER and GHOOK inside boat rails, inside or in the vicinity of any obstacles (holders for bimini top, solar panels, wind turbines,

etc.). The connection or disconnection to the buoy or ring and of the lazy line (mooring line) into or out of the Boatasy HOOKLINKER or GHOOK should be done

carefully and quickly. The user must be careful to disconnect the Boatasy HOOKLINKER steel hook connected to ring or buoy in a safe way. Important is to not insert

hands or body parts into the HOOKLINKER steel snap hook, when it is in use or disconecting. LED Flashlight in the box meet InternationaI Protection (IP) 67 standards

and is not suitable to be used in the water. Never allow the LED Flashlight to come into contact with water, because the electronics can be damaged as a result.

Originally it is not equipped with battery and should be equipped with 1 x AAA alkaline battery before use. Non-rechargeable batteries may not be charged.

Rechargeable batteries can only be charged under supervision of an adult. Depleted batteries must be removed from the LED Flashlight.  User should carefully use

the telescopic hook, where is mounted HOOKLINKER with attached LED Flashlight. It is important to fix the thick string on the holes of backward part of LED Flashlight

. You have also to be carefull to not damage its parts during usage as water and dust can enter through spaces and it can’t work any more.

In case of any accident during usage of Hoklinker or GHOOK, users should immediately consult a doctor. Do not use the Boatasy HOOKLINKER with all its parts and
