Interval [s]
Set the timer count interval. It has effect only when the selecting trigger
Source is Timer. The Interval range is from 10.4ns to 100s.
Slope
The Slope can be positive, negative or both. When positive is selected the
trigger is detected when the signal on the Trigger In 1 SMA connector
crosses the threshold from low to high. The negative option is the
opposite. If both is selected, the trigger is detected when the signal on the
Trigger In connector crosses the threshold from low to high and from high
to low.
It has effect only when the selecting Source is External.
Threshold [V]
It is the threshold that the external signal applied to the Trigger In
connector must cross to issue a Trigger event to the instrument. It has
effect only when the selected Source is External.
Impedance
It selects the Trigger In 1 connector impedance: 1 kOhm or terminated
into 50 Ohm.
Ext. Trig. Mode
When Slow Sync is selected the Trigger input signal is supposed to be
asynchronous with the system clock. In this case a hardware time
measurement circuit is enabled to keep the Tigger In to Out jitter as low
as possible.
When Fast Async is selected the Trigger input signal is expected to be
synchronous with the Sync Clock Out (and so with the system clock as
well). In this case the time measurement circuit is skipped so that the
Trigger In to Out delay is slower
Trig. Fast Delay
When the Ext. Trig. Mode is set to Fast Async then the Trigger In signal is
evaluated on the rising/falling edge of the Sync Clock Out. In order to
optimize the timing margins, it is possible to apply a delay to the Trigger
Input signal. The Trig. Fast Delay parameter specifies the delay applied to
the Trigger Input signal. The range of the delay is 0ps to 2418ps. The
resolution of the delay is 78ps.
Marker Out Settings
The Marker Out settings parameters are located in the Device Setting page.
There is a Marker Out SMA connector for each pair of analog outputs.
