Query only. Returns the state of the machine:
returns ACTIVE if the machine is armed and/or
generating pulses or IDLE if the machine has been
disarmed, followed by a counter of the number of
bursts generated by the machine. The counter
ranges from 0-99 and rolls back to 0 after the 99th
burst group has been completed.

:STATe <boolean value> Std Enables/disables the beeper.
:VOLume <numeric value> Std
Sets the volume of the beeper. Range is 0 to 1,
where 0 is off and 1 is maximum volume.
