Have the side-stand switch
checked by a specialist work-
shop, preferably by an author-
ised BMW Motorrad Retailer.

Checking the gaiter

Place the motorcycle on its
stand on firm, even ground.

Check the gaiter

developed cracks.

If the gaiter has come loose or
there are cracks:

Have the gaiter checked
by a specialist workshop,
preferably by an authorised
BMW Motorrad Retailer.
