Average consumption
Average consumption 3 is
calculated by dividing the dis-
tance covered since the last
RESET by the corresponding
amount of fuel used.
Reset the average
consumption
Repeatedly press INFO but-
ton
1 until the average fuel
consumption appears in the
display.
Press and hold down
the INFO button until the
average-consumption
reading is reset.
The display shows

Range
The range readout 3 indic-
ates how far you can ride with
the fuel remaining in the tank.
This distance is calculated on
the basis of fuel level and a
figure for average consump-
tion stored in the processor's
memory for this purpose. The
average-value figure used
to calculate range adapts to
changes in riding style more
slowly than the figure you can
call up on the display.
The system cannot tell
exactly how much fuel is
on board when the tank is
