Preparation for mobile phone with
Bluetooth interface,
including hands-free
equipment, connection for charger and outside
aerial. A separately available snap-in adapter
enables connection of a Bluetooth-compatible
mobile phone, which can also be operated via
iDrive (in conjunction with navigation system*).
For mobile phone options contact your BMW
partner.
AUX-IN socket
for an external audio device,
such as an MP3 player.
USB/audio interface
for USB stick or MP3
player, supports comfort connection of
a mobile phone music player. Titles shown on
the Control Display (only with navigation
system*). Controlled via the multifunction
steering wheel, radio Professional or
navigation system* (both optional).
Harman Kardon Surround Sound System
provides truly outstanding sound. The system
features a digital amplifier, 1 3 loudspeakers
and a surround mode to create a luxurious
soundscape all around you. The central bass
concept with subwoofers makes for an authentic
bass sound.
HiFi loudspeaker system
with eight
loudspeakers for brilliant sound.
BMW Individual High-End Audio System
features extraordinary high-performance
speakers with exclusive neodymium magnet
drivers that create an acoustic experience
comparable to a live concert. Volume and
equaliser settings automatically adjust to the
vehicle speed (available for the six-cylinder
models).
Radio BMW Professional,
same features
as BMW Business CD, plus two-line display to
show detailed info on telephone numbers,
names or on-board computer functions and
connection for a CD changer.
DAB tuner
enables reception of digital audio
broadcasts.
Radio BMW Business CD,
4 -channel
amplifier, aerial diversity, AUX-IN connection,
scan function, CD drive, MP3 decoder,
automatic volume control, five loudspeakers
(four mid-range speakers/tweeters and a
central subwoofer under the driver’s seat).
6 -speed automatic transmission
Steptronic
with ATM (Adaptive Transmission
Management). The gearshift mechanism
enables very fast, immaculate gear changes –
for truly dynamic performance (standard
on 3 3 5 d, not on 3 1 6 d).
6 -speed manual transmission
for a very
sporty drive. Smooth, with perfect ratios and
precise, short-throw gearshifts. The tight
spacing of gear ratios means that you can make
even more individual use of the engine power
provided (not available on 3 3 5 d).
Automatic air conditioning,
incl. AAR,
microfilter, fogging and solar sensors and
residual heat button, rapidly provides the
desired climatic conditions in the interior and
maintains the selected temperature. With
individual temperature control at the front (left/
right), and ventilation and air conditioning for
the rear passengers.
