Attention:
- In order to connect battery and speed controller to the de-
vice, only the appropriate Dean connectors can be used. If
Battery or ESC do not dispose of these connector, use an
adaptor.
- Pay attention to the polarity !!! The positive (red lead) and
negative (black lead) terminals of the power supply should be
connected to the Multi Wattmeter 100A correctly.
- Make sure the battery is connected to the Power input and
the ESC to the exit (Power load) when testing a motor setup.
- When monitoring the charge process of a battery, the battery
should be connected to the Power load exit and the charger
to the Power input.
- Keep enough distance while testing a motor setup.
The Multi Wattmeter 100A is an ideal tool for every pilot that
flies electric model aeroplanes. The Multi Wattmeter 100A can
be used to measure current, voltage, power and capacity and
comes in very handy to optimize your power setup. Another op-
tion is to use the Multi Wattmeter 100A to monitor the charging
process of a battery. This allows you to determine the capacity
of the battery.
The Multi Wattmeter 100A doesn’t need a separate power sup-
ply.
ERROR MESSAGES
A) Battery check program
- UNBALANCED: The voltage difference between the cells is
more the 0,05V.
- HIGH VOL: One or more cells have a voltage that is too high.
(LiPo:4,24V / LiFe:3,65V / Li-ion: 4,14V)
Pay attention
: there is a serious security risk!!
- LOW VOL: One or more cells have a voltage that is lower than
allowed. (LiPo:3,00V / LiFe:2,50V / Li-ion : 3,00V)
B) Self balance program
- CELL LOW VOL : The cell voltage is too low
- CELL HIGH VOL: The cell voltage is too high
- CELL CONNECT: There is a connection problem, check all con
-
nections.
