Connections 

All available connectors and operating ele-
ments of the AMS42/84-LAN are accessible 
on the right-hand side of the device front. 
 

3.1

 

Switch 

The AMS42/84-LAN is turned on (press "1") 
and off (press "0") with the switch. The green 
LED indicates the operation of the device. 
 

3.2

 

LEDs 

The two LEDs on the front of the device indicate the following states:

Network 

The PC/notebook and the AMS42/84-LAN communicate via network, which is realized with 
by a Twisted Pair connection (10Mbit). If directly connecting the AMS42/84-LAN to the PC, a 
crosslink cable must be used. Both cables are available as accessories (

ZUKA10T

 or 

ZUKA-

CL10T

). 

 

A firewall software installed on the PC might hinder the operation of the AMS42/84-LAN. In this case, 
please contact your network administrator.
