USING THE UNIT SAFELY

 WARNING

Do not allow foreign objects or liquids to enter the unit;
never place containers with liquid on the unit.

Do not place containers containing liquid on the
unit. Never allow foreign objects (e.g.,
flammable objects, coins, wires) or liquids (e.g.,
water or juice) to enter the unit. Doing so may
cause short circuits, faulty operation or other
malfunctions.

Turn off the unit if an abnormality or malfunction occurs.

Immediately turn the unit off, remove the power
cable from the power outlet and request
servicing by your retailer:
• The power cable or the plug has been

damaged; or

• If smoke or unusual odor occurs; or
• Objects have fallen into or liquid has been

spilled onto the unit; or

• The unit has been exposed to rain (or

otherwise has become wet); or

• The unit does not appear to operate normally

or exhibits a marked change in performance.

When children are nearby the unit, have adults
supervise them.

When using the unit where children are, be
careful not to misoperate the unit.
Adults should always be around to provide
supervision and guidance.

Do not drop or subject to strong impact.

Protect the unit from strong impact.
(Do not drop it!)

 WARNING

Do not share an power outlet with an unreasonable
number of other devices.

Do not force the power cables to share a power
outlet with an unreasonable number of other
devices.
Be especially careful when using extension
cords. The power rating (watts/amperes) for the
extension cord must not exceed total power of
all the used devices connected to the extension
cord's outlet.
Excessive loads can cause the insulation on the
extension cords to heat up and eventually melt
through.

Check the voltage of your local power oulet

The power cable should not be connected to a
direct current (DC).

Connect the unit to a power outlet that supports
a protective earthing connection.

Connect the unit to the speaker terminals using
cables (commercially available) or you may
consult an instructed person.

Use the unit at an altitude under 2,000
meters.

Follow all instructions.

Do not use the unit near water.

Clean only with dry cloth.

Do not block any ventilation openings.
Install in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions.

Do not install near any heat sources such as
radiators, heat registers, stoves or other
apparatus (including this unit) that generates
heat.

Do not defeat the safety purpose of the
polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized
plug has two blades with one wider than the
other. A grounding type plug has two blades and
a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the
third prong are provided for your safety. If the
provided plug does not fit into your power outlet,
consult an electrician for replacement of the
obsolete power outlet.

Protect the power cable from being stepped on
or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles and the point where they exit from
the unit.

Use attachments/accessories specified by the
manufacturer only.

Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket or
table specified by the manufacturer or sold with
the unit. When a cart is used, use caution when
moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid
injury from tip-over.

Unplug the unit during lightning storms or when
unused for long periods of time.
