Use outside the facility on an undeveloped floor or Do not use the MD on a floor with a
slope greater than 10% or When moving down a slope (maximum 10°), the patient must
be positioned in the opposite direction of travel.
•
When moving the patient, the footrest must be in the extended position and both armrests
must be lowered to prevent a fall.
•
When transferring the patient (moving the patient from bed to chair or from chair to
bed), the chair should be positioned as close to the bed as possible to ensure maximum
patient safety. Adjust the height of the bed to match the height of the transfer chair.
•
Do not sit on the leg rest
•
Do not apply a load greater than 20kg on the leg rest.
•
Use of the chair with a load that exceeds the safe working load (see technical
characteristics).
•
IV pole safe working load: 6 kg.
•
When moving the chair fitted with the IV pole, ensure that the latter does not strike any
obstacles (e.g. door frame, lighting, etc.) or individuals.

The footrest must not, under any circumstances, be used by the patient to climb onto the
product, it is a patient comfort element.
•
Tell the patient and any accompanying persons not to sit on the armrests.
•
Failure to perform these cleaning operations can lead to a risk of infection caused by
the presence of secretions and/or residues on the chair.

Before cleaning the chair, unplug it from the mains and ensure that all internal connections
are correctly established.
•
High-pressure and steam cleaning are prohibited.

oxygen, or with nitrous oxide as this could cause a fire and/or explosion.
