4.1.4 EMC-RELATED INFORMATION
The CAREXIA care chair is suitable for use in all healthcare establishments, with the exception
of facilities in the vicinity of HF ELECTROSURGICAL APPLIANCES, or near an
electromagnetically shielded room for an EM magnetic resonance imaging system, in which the
intensity of EM INTERFERENCES is high.
The CAREXIA care chair is not suitable for use in domestic homes or establishments or on any
premises connected to the public low-voltage network supplying domestic buildings.
EM interference could cause the product to make unexpected movements.
This appliance should not be used next to, or stacked on other appliances as this could
lead to incorrect operation. If this mode of operation is necessary, this and the other
appliances should be observed to ensure their correct operation.
The use of accessories, transducers or cables other than those specified or supplied by the
manufacturer can lead to an increase in electromagnetic emissions, or a decrease in this
appliance’s immunity, causing inappropriate operation.
Do not use portable RF communication devices (including peripherals such as antenna
cables and external antennas) less than 30 cm (12 inches) from any part of the
APPLIANCE, including the cables specified by the manufacturer. Otherwise, the
performance of these devices could be impaired.
