PRO-88 EX
Key Low / Key High: This parameter defines
the region of the keyboard in which a zone is
played. Key Low marks the lowest note, Key
High the highest note in the zone.
With this function, you are able to set up split
sounds, in which each zone in your performance is defined in a specific
range of the keyboard, where the zone sound will be played of course,
the zones can also overlap their designated keyboard regions. In the
overlapping segments, the given zones will sound together as layers.
The keyboard of your PRO‑88 EX begins on the bass side with the note
A1 and ends at C9 in the high treble. The middle C is C5. The tone A‑440
is found at the A5 key. Since the PRO‑88 EX is fully MIDI compatible, it is
also possible to designate a zone with even higher or lower notes than
the tones found on the natural keyboard. The MIDI‑keyboard system is
comprised of 128 tones:
