Changing environmental conditions
• Only use the device during the day and in good visibility and weather
conditions. Do not use in rain, snow or ice.
•
Use only within the approved temperature range.
•
Use the device only on flat and dry surfaces. The following surfaces,
among others, should never be
driven on,
but must be avoided by slowly
circumnavigating
or
walking by:
- damp or wet areas; snowy or icy areas
- irregular surfaces with obstacles and/or soft ground
- sloping surfaces, kerbs, steps or similar.

Do not jump over obstacles.

Ensure directly before each use
• The device is subjected to heavy wear and tear also during normal use.
Therefore,
visually check for perfect condition
before and after each use:
- All
connections
must be tight. The device must be free from damage. Look
for
signs of fatigue
(cracks, scratches, discolouration, deformation) especially
at points subject to high stress (frame, suspension, etc.). The
steering setting
must be correct.
• In case of possible damage, do not continue
to use the device, but contact the
customer service.
•
Check that the device is sufficiently charged (well over 10%).
•
Only use the device with suitable
protective equipment and clothing
(at least
hard hat, gloves, knee and elbow pads, sturdy shoes).

Riding the device (hoverboard)
• Always drive carefully and at an appropriate speed: Safe stopping must
always be possible, even in unforeseen situations. The maximum speed is 12
km/h. When reached, a warning tone sounds.
•
Always drive with full attention. Avoid loud music. Only use smartphones and the
like when in standstill.
•
Always bear in mind that the device has no brake, but can only be stopped by
shifting your weight. Descend only to the rear. Note that the device will then roll a
little further.
•
Do not use the device with more than one person.
•
Do not use the device for transporting objects or animals.
•
Always keep sufficient distance from others. Draw attention to yourself in good
time. Always drive considerately.
•
Use the device with both feet. Do not drive long distances backwards.
