• Always check the breathing apparatus and cartridges
and/or filter for tightness before entering the
contaminated area.
• Facial hair can make it impossible to fit the breathing
apparatus so that it is tight.
CHECK
Always check before using the product that it is working
properly and is undamaged. Follow the instructions below.
• Check that the product is free from dirt, cracks or other
damage.
• Check that the straps are undamaged and elastic.
• Check all plastic and rubber parts for cracks and fatigue
damage.
Tightness check
1. Press your palms over both of the filter air inlets and
breath in to create an underpressure.
2. Hold your breath. If you feel that the breathing
apparatus is pulled a little closer to your face without
any leakage then it is properly fitted. If not, adjust the
breathing apparatus and the straps to eliminate the
leakage of air. Repeat the tightness check until the
breathing apparatus fits properly.
