BR777 PROGRAMMING QUICK REFERENCE CHART
PROGRAMMING YOUR RADIO SETTINGS
Programming mode allows you to change the following settings on
your radio:
l
Channel (1~4)
l
Frequency (1~56)
l
Privacy Code (0~121)
l
Scan List (y/n)
l
Call Alert/Vibrate Alert (0~4; 4 is for Vibrate Alert)
l
VOX (0/1/2/3 ; 0 is off)
l

ENTERING THE PROGRAMMING MODE
To enter the
PROGRAM
mode, start with the radio powered off and
press and hold the
SCAN
button and
PTT
button simultaneously while
you power the radio on; done by pressing the
MODE
button for 3
seconds. The radio will beep and display all the LCD segments for a
few seconds. The Program icon (shown by PROG) will appear, the
channel number flashes, and the Frequency icon (shown by
FREQ) and Privacy Code icon (shown by CODE) will be displayed
alternately.
To exit PROGRAM mode, press the
MODE
button for 3 seconds then
the unit will power off.
