Starting scan seek tuning
To start scan seek tuning,
1 switch to the radio functions menu by pressing the TUNE button

and
2 press the softkey assigned to the PAGE 2 menu item.
3 Press the softkey assigned to the SCAN menu item.

Scan seek tuning begins. The activity of the scan seek tuning operation
is indicated symbolically in the display foreground.
Note: Only a TMC Scan can be carried out on the FMC level.
Stopping scan seek tuning
If you want to stop scan seek tuning or continue listening to a station set by the
scan seek tuning operation,
1 press the ESC button

Scan seek tuning is stopped and the station that was tuned into last will
then continue to be heard.
TMC Scan
TMC Scan only tunes into stations that support the TMC feature.
Starting TMC Scan
To start a TMC Scan,
1 switch to the radio functions menu by pressing the TUNE button

and
2 press the softkey assigned to the PAGE 2 menu item.
3 Press the softkey assigned to the TMC-SCAN menu item.

The TMC Scan begins. The activity of the scan seek tuning operation is
