Setup
The setup menu on the ME2 provides
you with many options for customising
the device to suit your needs.
Opening the setup menu
To open the setup menu,

Changing settings in the setup
menu
The settings in the setup menu are ad-
justed in similar way to that described
in the section entitled “Selecting the lan-
guage for the on-screen display”.
Selecting the language for the
on-screen display

Selecting the playback language
You can set the playback language in
the “AUDIO” menu item in the
“PREFERENCES” menu.
Selecting the subtitle language
You can set the subtitles in the “SUBTI-
TLE” menu item in the “PREFERENC-
ES” menu.
Selecting the DVD menu
language
You can set the language for the DVD
menu in the “DISC MENU” menu item
in the “PREFERENCES” menu.
Selecting the monitor settings
You can set the monitor settings in the
“TV DISPLAY” menu item in the
“PREFERENCES” menu.
The following monitor settings are avail-
able:

Normal/LB: The DVD player is con-
nected to a 4:3 monitor. The wide-
screen picture covers the entire
width of the monitor and black bars
appear at the top and bottom edg-
es of the screen.
